1) Soup of MugaSlightly roast 1 handful of mug / muga dal / peeled mug in a pan. Add 10 to 12 cups of water and cook. While cooking, add vegetables like carrot, onion, cabbage, cauliflower as well as coriander powder, ginger, curry leaves, cilantro and salt to taste. Add ghee, 4-5 drops of lemon juice.Muga soup is very healthy according to Ayurveda. Muga is superior to all pulses. Muga soup reduces kapha and pitta, makes digestion easier, increases appetite , decreases obesity. It is useful in fever, cold, cough etc. 2) Spinach soupFirst clean and chop Spinach then add garlic and chilli and with little ghee , saute. Then make paste in mixer. Add coriander powder and salt. Add water as required. Add a little wheat flour to thicken. Instead of spinach, you can use beetroot, carrots, cauliflower, beans, cabbage. This soup is good to take occasionally. Spinach soup is digestive, purgative and it increases appetite.
